HP Envy x360, Not detecting drive
Fixing an HP laptop that wouldn’t boot because of a dodgy internal SSD was a pretty easy task for us. Knowing how annoying and inconvenient this must’ve been for the customer, we aimed to get to the bottom of it quickly and come up with a solid fix. After running our suite of drive tests and doing a full analysis, we confirmed the SSD was indeed the issue! Stopping the laptop from accessing the important system files needed to start up.
With a lot of care , we swapped out the faulty SSD for a reliable, compatible one, making sure it fit correctly with the HP laptop’s setup. We installed Windows and ran another series of tests to make sure everything worked perfectly, and the laptop could boot into the operating system without any further problems.
After the repair, the customer was really happy, especially since we turned it around really quickly and their laptop was back to full working order. We charged £150 for the whole job, covering the labour, the replacement SSD, and all the testing and data copy from the old drive. All in all a great service from our team and all within a tight time frame.
