Crosley CR6035B Record Player

Repairing a Crosley CR6035B that was experiencing issues with sound output. The customer explained that while the turntable appeared to be spinning correctly, there was no audio being produced. Upon inspection, we began by testing the device’s various components to isolate the source of the issue. Our diagnostics revealed that the problem was linked to the tonearm pickup which is responsible for converting the mechanical movement of the stylus in to electrical signals for the amplifier.

To address this, we carefully disassembled the unit to access the tonearm pickup, close attention to the delicate wires connecting the pickup to the rest of the unit. After repairing the pickup we fitted a new stylus and reassembled the turntable, we conducted thorough testing to confirm that sound was now outputting correctly.

The customer was delighted with the results, as their Crosley CR6035B was fully restored to working order, allowing them to enjoy their records once again. The quoted price of £65, which covered the cost of labour and replacement components. This successful resolution not only reinstated the functionality of the turntable but also demonstrated our commitment to delivering meticulous, high-quality service tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.
