AnyCubic Photon Mono M7 Resin Printer

Repairing an AnyCubic Photon Mono M7 that had stopped working after the customer attempted a motherboard upgrade required a thorough diagnostic process and careful technical work to restore the 3D printer to full functionality. The customer explained that after installing the new motherboard, the printer would no longer initialise or respond correctly, leaving it unusable. On inspection, we confirmed that the issue stemmed from incorrect connections between the new board and the printer’s existing components, including the screen and stepper motors. To resolve this, we carefully disassembled the unit, tested the mains voltage going in to the printer and the voltage coming out of the internal power supply and all fuses, we also checked each cable, connector, and component to ensure they were properly seated and undamaged. After reassembly, we performed a series of tests, including checking the Z-axis and UV and touchscreen functions. The customer was very happy with the result, as their Photon Mono M7 was restored and improved, allowing them to continue printing with confidence. The quoted price of £65, which covered the cost of labour and full testing, was considered fair and excellent value for the work involved.
